Everyday Art

Everyday Art is a program for kids aged 10-14 that focuses on art from around the world. Students learn to paint in the style of the great European impressionists, create origami aquariums, dabble in Caribbean jewelry making, and enjoy pottery painting utilizing Native American, Mexican, and African designs. Following each camp, the students' artwork is displayed at a breakfast exhibit at Perfect Blend, where folks can enjoy coffee and pastry while viewing the kids' beautiful creations. It is Design Squad's mission to make social consciousness a component of the Everyday Art program, thus part of the proceeds from the tuition for Everyday Art are donated to World's Window, an organization devoted to developing, supporting and expanding educational initiatives and programs in areas of need in the country of Belize and beyond.
