Jill Baboulis

Jill Baboulis is an artist who has designed and painted for numerous theatrical productions in the Bethlehem School District and for Park Playhouse. Originally trained as a social worker, Jill returned to her Alma Mater, UAlbany, in 2004 to study scene design and painting in its theatre department, with Ruben Arana-Downs. Jill was a 2007 recipient of the Award for Meritorious Achievement in Set Design from The Theatre Association of New York State for her design of “The Nerd”, performed by Harlequin Players. She photographed and arranged the cover of “Spiritual Food for Thought”, a book published in 2000 by a local author, which sold out of print in four days. Jill loves to create and wants to hear about your dream project, however large or small it may be.

Independent Contractor Maggie Chu

Maggie Chu is a 2009 graduate of Bethlehem Central. Last June she was named one of the capital region's top seniors in the Albany Times Union. Maggie has accrued four years of scene painting experience from various high school, middle school, and community theater productions. Her design of the French ice-cream stand for BCHS's "The Boyfriend" appeared in a national publication in 2009. Maggie's specialty is blending colors by hand, which she believes results in a smoother transition between hues. Currently Maggie attends Duke University, but is available during college vacations for your design needs. She plans to major in Classics and Women Studies and enjoys being involved in Duke's rowing and quiz bowl teams.

Independent Contractor Layla Woflgang

Layla is a junior at Bard College and she is double majoring in Mathematics and Theatre. She has painted sets for countless productions in high school and college, and she has designed logos and publicity posters for most of those shows. In her junior and senior year of high school she won awards for her drawings and paintings in juried shows around the capital region. In college, Layla is commissioned for personalized portraits.

Independent Contractor Peter Hoffman

Peter Hoffman is a Physics Adjunct at the College of Saint Rose. A former theatre techie, Peter graduated from Bethlehem Central High School in 2003, then pursued a Bachelors of Science in Physics and another in Education from SUNY Oneonta. He graduated from Saint Rose in December with a 4.0 GPA and a Masters of Science in Education. Peter's background enables him to come up with original ideas blending form and function, and his familiarity with the area helps him understand the community culture.

Independent Contractor Andrew Chambers

Andrew Chambers is a sophomore at Ithaca College studying Architecture and Business. He is one of the vocalists in the elite a cappella group, "Ithacappella" and enjoys playing guitar, biking and skiing. Andrew is one of the Squad's builders during the summer months. He also has experience with interior house paining, lawn and garden work and general carpentry. If you want the job done right, Andrew's your man.
